History

Marken Guesthouse opened in 1997 with 12 rooms and 36 beds. In 2002, 2009  and 2015 we expanded,  and now we have 27 rooms with a total of  86 beds. In  2014/2015 , we had a "makeover" on most of our rooms, and Marken Guesthouse now appears  fresh and modern.

Marken Guesthouse is proud to have won the award for the year's best Hostel / Youth Hostel several times. This is an award given by Hostelworld.com - Hoscars.
